Magical Girl/Boy Contest!

I have reduced the cash prizes, but increased the art prizes because of both lack of interest/entries in this contest and the fact that I'm in a bad place right now. It is now almost October 23rd, and the contest closes on October 31st. I still reserve the right to decrease the prizes even more if I don't get more entries or cancel it altogether. Please finish your entries; it's only fair for the others who have entered. 

Those of you who have completed a piece and linked it to me, I will find some way to compensate for your participation.

Rules:
Your submission(s) must be completely original works. You are allowed to use photo references, but no bases. (I may make exceptions if your basework is incredibly detailed.) 
You may choose to include elements or interaction with characters from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sailor Moon, or Conception II.
You may submit as many entries as you'd like. However, you may only win once.
Please, no bows, frills, dresses, etc. on Nexus. He must be manly. Wraith, I may be a little more lenient with (light colors, tighter clothes, maybe a little lace), but no dresses or skirts for him either. 

Judging:
The entries will be judged by myself and on the following criteria. 
Creativity
Effort
Originality
And of course, general favorite appearance. 
You may earn bonus points for the inclusion of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sailor Moon, or Conception II characters and/or for a creative background!

Judging will be completed and prizes awarded by Friday, November 7th, 2014 (my birthday). This gives you more than enough time to create as much as you'd like to create!!
